Litha - Summer Solstice Chakra Meditation Script - Hum Sa

The sun has graced us with all its virtuous rays, the peak of warmth and the potency of growth.
Litha, Goddess, Green Man and all fairies of summer bring to us fertile creativity, fulfillment of purpose, and reasons for joy and celebration.

For your body, find comfort in repose. From your spine feel the envelope of strength and sinew, your current blessings of support. Honor the virtue of your constitution, all matters of mind, body and spirit. From your internal structure bring awareness to your spiritual energies.

From your tailbone, muladhara, your root connects with Mother Earth, now is her time of optimum vibrancy. Red in color, like the summer rose. Hum Sa.

From your sacrum, swadhisthana, your sacred pelvis celebrates fertility and creation, vibrate your innovation for change. Orange in color like the seed-borne poppy. Hum Sa.

From your diaphragm, mahipura, your deepest breath connects all thoughts to action, extend all powers from your core to your periphery. Yellow in color like the dandelion, resilient and adaptable.  Hum Sa.
From your heart, anahata, your link between breath and pulse, the regulator of your passions and interpreter of your sensations. Green in color like a plants foliage, the food of life. Hum Sa.

From your throat, vishuddi, your connection to the outer world, a delicate expansion of mindfulness and empathy towards others. Blue like the pansy, durable and graceful in presence. Hum Sa.

From your brow, Ajna, your third-eye center is your harmony of spirit, the safe-harbor for your true personality. Indigo like the hardy lupine, thrives despite challenging environs, enigmatic in its beauty. Hum Sa
From your Crown, Saharara, the lightness of being, representative of your universal source of connection to all realms of vitality. White like the daisy, emanating vibrancy and resilience through all regions of existence.  Hum Sa.

Draw your breath through the nostrils, upwards towards your brow and crown, deeper pass your throat and heart, expand into your diaphragm. Exhale past your belly to the depths of your seat and let the last of your breath hug your heart.

Repeat, notice the cooling of the inhale and the warmth through your thoughts, the expansion of your middle, the lift from your core and the activation of your pubic space. Release the warmth through your lungs and nostrils.

Inhale (pause), Exhale (pause) - (cue repeat of inhales and exhales for 5x)

Begin to notice the rise and fall of your breath, observe the motion that never left your body. Invite an expansion. (Bring student out of sh
avasana.)

(Add hum sa or chant om nahma shiviya gurave 8 x )

I offer myself to the Light, the Auspicious Universe, the True Teacher, from Within and Without.
