Zen Mountain Yoga is a carefully designed yoga class created to move your mind, body, and spirit through a series of seated and standing yoga poses. Yoga props are used to facilitate deeper movement for a richer stretch environment, designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises, neurogenic brain training, and guided relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Zen out in as we explore the eight limbs of yoga through your dosha awareness, and bring the mountain home to your heart. Appropriate for beginner to advanced.
Body Sculpt is a low-impact workout class using a wall-mounted barre, resistance weights, and bodyweight to tone muscles, build strength, and improve flexibility. Classes are accessible for all levels with modifications, offering full-body sculpting without high impact or jumping, often incorporating elements like pliés, pulses, circuits, and supersets. Yoga and core work is at the essence of Body Sculpt.
Yoga in the Park is a vinyasa class held outdoors at Fellin Park on the grass out front of the Ouray Hot Springs pool. This is an asana (poses) based practice with flowing movements. The ground is subject to the natural curves of outdoor terrain and/or sometimes dewy/wet -- a towel is suggested. In the case of inclement weather, the class will be moved indoors to the studio at 408 Main St. -- no refunds. A few loner yoga mats are available, first come first serve. ^^Advanced sign up is requested (payment is not required at time of sign-up). $10.00 online or venmo. Class is subject to cancellation if no one signs up at least 30 minutes in advance. All updates will occur on the booking calendar and on Instagram. Please check calendar to confirm schedule morning-day of attendance. Please bring sun protection and water.
